Why? Why not! Wyoming!
July 15th
Said goodbye to Cody in Denver…
and hit the open road for Wyoming.
I was greeted by three giant happy dogs, a cabin full of friends I love and a garden bursting with colors.
The cabin has a wrap-around porch, horses, a barn and a 360 degree view of some of the most gorgeous country I’ve ever seen.
This road trip has a new theme; while the margaritas were spicy fun, the mountains here bring their own mystery. I spent hours yesterday wandering the woods with friends, a pack on my back with nothing more than a water bottle and my camera, and two happy pups at my heels. Mountain living — clean air, the song of birds, the whisper of the running river and the cool breeze above — is a gift. This is the way I want to live.
Squaretop Mountain, as seen from Green River Lake. I am certain the world doesn’t come any prettier or more peaceful.

BIG SKY COUNTRY!!!!! I guess. Wow, gorgeous flowers, pines, mountains, clouds, sky. Too fun. Were those flowers in the first flower pic unnaturally huge or was it just the angle of your camera? They look humongous!
