So sorry about the extended fam drama, it just always makes me wonder WHY. I tend to loose all patience with it and want to say, get it together or get it out of my zone! Sigh…probably not the best attitude, I’l admit. Your “Yay” list is great though!

Sounds almost like my family. I know what you mean. When it comes to drama, my aunt and mom take the cake.

I get tired of hearing the “what a bad mom” you are routine from my aunt. She’s still in denial that my son is Autistic, so she is always telling me what I’m doing wrong (my son comes with behavioral issues). My mom, on the other had, somewhat in denial still but not as much as the aunt. Talk about DRAMA, boy, I’ve heard it too.

Glad you got new tires. That was a great surprise.

I have to agree with all the other posters and from my own holiday experience–there is always some sort of drama! It’s not always fun, but would holidays work if it wasn’t there?

I hope the good out weighed the bad. Sounds like you had a great time, overall.

First off, if you need to add someone of a *ahem* certain age to your team to improve your knowledge of 80′s trivia, I volunteer.
Your dad sounds like a prince. My dad used to do stuff like that with my wrecks, I mean cars, too.
Sorry about the drama. But at least your good stuff list is longer than your crappy stuff list!
