I am so lame I totally forgot about the sewing adventure! I will try to do better the next project. I just could never come up with a good idea for a scarf, since are almost into AC weather also. Actually I have had the AC on recently.

I LOVE those pics of the giraffos! Sounds like you have a pretty great mom – especially considering you got a massage in the midst of all the craziness. My mom was a home ec teacher for years, and I still never learned how to sew… I’m terribly jealous of those who can and I’m excited to see your project. Glad you’re getting a break now!

Hope your fundraiser was a success! My, you all have fun on your sewing adventures. I need to get that sewing machine of mine–and that digital camera! All these artistic intentions of mine. Meanwhile, I’ll read up a storm and continue saving for my 2 dream purchases this year!

The scarves are all great – it’s so fun to look at how many different people interpreted the same pattern.
