A Domestic Afternoon
Dutch Apple Pie, where the crumbles on top never crumbled. Eh. You win some, you lose some. In this case, you get a sweet slice of pie either way.
On today’s domestic agenda:
Anna, your tunic will be mine.

January 30th, 2008 at 10:45 amAhh well…. hopefully your sewing will turn out better! (If not, just put some of that topping on it and call it a Tunic Crumble.)
January 30th, 2008 at 10:57 amI’m having a domestic afternoon as well, I just popped some cheddar dill scones into the oven from a Barefoot Contessa cookbook. It was a little scary making that “fancy” dough (yeah right) but you can’t go wrong with cheese right? I hope.

January 31st, 2008 at 4:23 amLove pie. Apple pie is the bomb. Yours makes me want to make a pie today. I like the sour cream apple on ’simpley recipes.com’. Yum!
I can’t wait to see your tunic. You picked some beautiful fabric.
January 31st, 2008 at 5:36 amOoh, I can’t wait to see your Anna tunic and hear how the pattern goes.
January 31st, 2008 at 7:30 amOh neat I haven’t gotten that pattern yet. I have several of hers and need to get busy, I’m all into her fabrics right now too, I’m thinking about making several things for the summer (skirts) and some pillow covers for the sofa. Can’t wait to see how it comes out. As far as the apple pie, I’ve been making pies for 30 years and I still goof them up sometimes, baking is always a gamble with me!
