Hubby & I have some wedding $ to spend at Barnes & Noble and he just brought up the idea this morning that maybe he could buy a book and I could buy a book….I am thinking I have found what book I want to buy!!! I’m so into the stitch-along.

I can’t read your blog anymore. Just looking at all those pictures of sweets is causing my bum to expand. Ah, heck…I’ll be back. I’ve never been one for self-control.

I’d love to participate in the sew along, but I’m working on a major re-do of a table and chairs set (yep, I even like to recycle furniture!!). I just know if I buy that book – I’ll hit a standstill with this project. I would however enjoy “watching along.”

I would love to do an institches sew-along! There’re so many things in there I want to make. This sounds like a great idea, and it would be nice to see pictures of everyone’s different projects! I’m in. =D

Great placemats…I love Finny’s idea. Maybe pair people up and they make an item to send to each other? Just thinkin’.

Everytime I visit your blog, I wish I lived closer to the grocery store. But it is probably for the best as I’d be making and consuming every one of your recipes. And eventually my pants wouldn’t fit anymore.

How funny! I just perused the book today and decided to make the square potholders for gifts. I’ll look forward to seeing how your other projects turn out; the placemats were a great start! I really really like that paisley.

Oh, and as for the cupcakes: “lazy” nothing, girl. I’ve pretty much decided to stick to the mixes when it comes to cupcakes – I’m so much happier with the results. The homemade icing is what really seals the deal anyway (in my opinion)!

I haven’t heard of the book before, but I would love to do a sew-along with you! I need to sew more, and revive my sewing skills. What better way than to do it with a friend?? I will have to look into getting the book and such first.
