Sloshball
I proudly introduce to you a new drinking game. Or at least it was new to me until this weekend.
Sloshball, aka kickball for adults with a keg on second base. The rules?
You must hold a beer in your hand at all times.
Pick up a water balloon at first base and use it as you please.
Chug a beer at second base before moving to third. If you do not drink beer, (ahem) be prepared to take the full wrath of 30 people you just met and be thrown out on third.
If you reach third base, ride the scooter (holding your beer, don’t forget) to home. Then run the scooter back to third base.
Oh, and don’t forget to get “sloshed.” There’s no coincidence I’m not in that photo. The thought of keg beer gives me a headache and a stomachache at the same time. Plus, I had doggies to take care of. With my record, there’s no room for error.

July 19th, 2006 at 1:24 pmSloshball was so good. We’re currently brainstorming other children’s games to involve alcohol with. Any ideas?
Matt and I used to belong to WAKA (World Adult Kickball Association). It was fun. Until adults ruined the game by becoming too competitive and taking all the fun out of it.
Kids games don’t work because adults are usually a-holes.
July 19th, 2006 at 3:03 pmAlso known as KegBall — I believe this is the official sport of most American colleges and some corporations.
Did you guys have any rules involving kegstands? Sadly, I used to be a champ at this.
July 19th, 2006 at 4:02 pmSloshball was definitely a big sport when I was in college, 4 score and 7 years ago.
Agreed - a lot of adults do know how to ruin what could be a fun kid’s game. Probably because they sucked at it when they were kids and are still bitter.
As far as what else could incorporate booze, Drunk Dodgeball I think would get a little too out of control. So how about Drunk Four Square? Drunk Tetherball? Drunk Operation? Drunk Hungry Hungry Hippos?
July 19th, 2006 at 4:22 pmDrunken capture the flag. A big park, draw i line down the middle. If you get caught in enemy territory you go to prison, which is a keg, you sit there and drink and wait for someone to rescue you, and they have to outchug a person on that team to complete the rescue. Then the entire team who loses their flag is penalized with a beer. I love it.
By the way, these are the ideas that kept me out of the really good schools…
July 19th, 2006 at 5:23 pmI’m not a beer girl [I'm into hard liquor :)], but Sloshball sure looks like something I’d love to play!
We used to do the Quarters drinking game. Not as exciting as Sloshball but still a good time.
